David Koncelik comes to Oxbow Stables from the central Ohio area. He has been instructing riders and training horses professionally
for over eleven years. He began his career in the hunter/jumper arena, and eventually found his niche in the eventing world. He has
competed in eventing through the intermediate level, and his students have competed successfully, many earning championships and
a few making their way to the American Eventing Championships. David’s own training has been with a diverse group, including
former 4 star eventers Mark Combs, Mimi Combs, and Ursula Brush, Grand Prix Dressage trainer Lynn Hamler, Grand Prix Show
Jumpers Adam Cramer, and Neal Burton, Olympians Mark Phillips, Michael Page, and Anne Kyrsinski, as well as talented local
trainers such as Pam Lloyd, Nancy Arledge, and Tara Bowles. David’s instruction is low key, individualized, and geared toward helping every horse and rider reach their maximum potential and personal goals.
